Best things about Bunbury: What I love most about Bunbury is that even though it’s a city, it’s actually a small town, and when you’ve lived here long enough you realise that you have this huge network of friends and acquaintances - unlike living in a larger city such as Perth.

Hobbies: I love spending time in the garden during the cooler months, and I enjoy relaxing with a magazine or book and a nice cup of tea. I also volunteer with Harvey History Online, and with BREC.

Best things about Bunbury: The stunning coastline and proximity to the Harvey Region, Wellington National Park and Ferguson Valley. Bunbury has fantastic eateries and entertainment venues for a great night out.

Best things about Bunbury Multicultural Group: The amazing bunch of individuals who come together from all corners of the globe. They manage to coordinate many projects which help newcomers to the region feel at home in Bunbury. I love that the annual Multicultural Festival showcases a melting pot of cultural dance, music, food and traditions with the help of awesome sponsors.

Best things about Bunbury: It’s a quiet and safe city. The beaches and walking tracks along ocean drive are lovely. In Bunbury I’ve met the most beautiful, kind and friendly people I’ve ever encountered.

Through volunteering I love being able to help the multicultural community and engage with immigrants, as well as learn about different countries and cultures. Plus, it’s nice to be able to promote your birth country and its culture to others too.

She also likes its moderate size, cultural scene and down-to-earth locals. It’s an amazing place to build a home and enjoy its multi-faceted life style.

Best things about Bunbury: I love the fact that I can go to any of the beaches without feeling overwhelmed by crowds of people, and at times, lucky enough to have the beach all to myself. I also love the beauty of the land when I drive inland. The people I have met since moving to Bunbury have also been so generous with their love and support. I have never experienced this before and am eternally grateful.

Best thing about BMG: BMG plays an important role in supporting the diverse ethnic groups to develop a sense of belonging and form friendships. I feel privileged to work alongside individuals who have and continues to generously give up their time, energy and effort to help others.
